A principle I always advise for my clients, whether purchasing clothing or accessories, is to buy things that you know you can wear in many different ways. If you can’t immediately make a few outfits in your closet with something you just bought, then you might want to take it right back to the store. In the best of all worlds, you’ll be able to easily mix and match any new purchase with the other players in your wardrobe.

That’s the reason I wanted to share about a recent purchase I made from the Jackie Jones Collection. It’s a black rubber-like cord (with magnetic closure – easy on and off) that has all of these little dangly cords of varying lengths, each with little plastic ‘crystals’ on the ends. What’s especially great about it is that it can be worn in so many different ways: with all of them (of course), with only the medium length cords, with only the shortest cords, or with only the three longest cords. What versatility! It turns that one necklace into four options – think of the cost per wear this will give me.
