Monday Musing – Be a First Rate Version of Yourself

Monday Musing Judy Garland

Nobody can be a better ‘you’ than you. There’s nothing wrong with admiring someone else’s style, and even picking up tips from their style. But. Take that style element and make it your own. “Make your own kind of music. Sing your own special song. Even if nobody else sings along.” Many of you won’t know these lyrics – bonus points if you do. Regardless, the two musical greats that are inspiring this post – Judy Garland and Mama Cass Elliott – are dead-on in their sentiments. Enjoy the clip below from 1969, and then be that first rate version of yourself and make your own kind of music!
